Project goals
The goal of this collage project was to create a visual story around the idea of traveling and experiencing new places. I wanted to mix feelings of adventure, excitement, and a little bit of escape.
My idea was to make it feel dreamy and fun, like a travel memory that’s a little all over the place but still feels good when you look at it.
Using Photoshop, I layered bright images and cut-out elements to create an “on-the-go” scrapbook vibe—playful, magical, and a little surreal.

The Story Behind the Design
This collage series reflects the emotions tied to movement, discovery, and the fleeting magic of summer. I mixed real-world images with dreamy, surreal elements to tell an open-ended visual story. The goal is to let viewers connect their own memories and feelings to each scene, like creating their own version of wanderlust.

It’s about freedom, curiosity, and the excitement of seeing somewhere new for the first time.

This final one is like a scrapbook page. The previous collages are turned into Polaroid photos, showing that all the wild, fun, and emotional moments are now just memories. It ties the whole story together — a reminder that even if the trip is over, the feeling stays with you.
